Alberto Lezaca









Alberto Lezaca was born 1971 in Bogotá, Colombia. He lives and works in Bogotá.

His practice looks into cultural and technological devices that allow creation of reality. In his most recent work he has developed a series of project revolving around the prototype, understood as the original idea shaping the objects and devices surrounding us.

His work seeks encounters with practices beyond visual arts, therefore he carries out researches on architecture, design, music and literature.

Since 2010 he is a professor at Universidad Nacional de Colombia’s Art Faculty.
